How TickmarkTools handles your data — in short: most of it never leaves your browser.
Last updated: July 2026
TickmarkTools ("we", "us", "our") provides free online tools at tickmarktools.com. This policy explains what data is and isn't collected when you use our site.
Most tools on TickmarkTools — including all PDF, image, and text tools — process your input entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. Files you upload (PDFs, images) and text you type are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Closing the tab or refreshing the page permanently discards this data since nothing is stored.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g., which tools are most used), which does not involve reading or storing the content you enter into a tool.
We use minimal, functional cookies where required (e.g., to remember a display preference during your session). We do not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles.
If you use our Contact page, the information you provide (name, email, message) is sent directly to our support email and used only to respond to your inquiry.
Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from public content delivery networks (CDNs) to perform functions like PDF processing or barcode generation. These libraries run locally in your browser and do not receive your file contents.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
